Monday Made It (June 17th)

Monday again…Time really needs to stop going by so quickly. I feel like the summer is flying by!! However, Monday does bring Monday Made It! I am linking up AGAIN! I can’t wait to see what everyone else has made this week!

Anyway, while I was at school Friday working on my Teacher Binder I decided to make an area for student work. I am sure this is not something that I made up, but I haven’t seen it on a blog or Pinterest. Maybe I did make it up, but I doubt it!

I did this in my old classroom also and it gave me room to hang 12 pieces of student work. That is pretty good for an area that would normally not be used.

Please ignore the mess on the counters! I have taped different types of ribbon around the cabinet doors.

I have then added clothespins (embellished of course) to hang the work. It is so easy to change in and out!

I added these little Adirondack chairs to my reading area. Aren’t they adorable!

I mentioned that I got a haircut on Friday. Well it is okay, but not really what I wanted. I am going back soon to have her cut it a little shorter.

  12. Looks like a great idea but I would like to see the student work hung up later, as I am having a hard time visualizing the student work and how it would look. Am I missing something? I mean, I do not understand what the ribbon is for? Is it to hold the laundry pins? How are you fastening the ribbon to the doors? Thanks!
