Stitch Fix #8

I just got my 8th Stitch Fix in the mail!! It is like Christmas every time! You can find out more about Stitch Fix {here} if you are unfamiliar. You can follow my Stitch Fix Pinterest board as well.  My stylist tells me she uses it to choose each of my pieces. I apologize that I don't have the exact prices!  They are very close!  I accidentally threw the receipt away. I have all of my items set for prices between $50-$100.

Galen Laser Cut Dress- Collective Concepts ($80ish)
This dress is beautiful!! The laser cut is very on trend and navy is my favorite color to wear. It has a tie in the side to help cinch in the waist.  I plan on wearing this tomorrow to my birthday dinner.  I could easily put a cardigan over to make it work appropriate.

Necklace is from a past Stitch Fix- Shoes: TOMS (not from Stitch Fix, but they do offer TOMS)

Ernie Crochet Detail Top- Skies are Blue ($48)

This shirt has all the details that I wanted! Beautiful print and details on the straps!  Again it is in my favorite navy color!  I paired it with white jeans and the same TOMS wedges.  I kept on the silver necklace.

The back is so cool!

I then added a denim jacket to make it work friendly and added another necklace I received from a previous fix.

Forn Woven Back Knit Top- Loveapella ($48)
I am so in LOVE with this comfy white and black striped 3/4 length top!  The material is super soft and the fit was perfect!!  I paired it with a pair of my all time favorite pants from Stitch Fix.

The back is the best! I just love the floral!

Cupertino Eyelet Detail Top- Skies are Blue ($48)
Gregory Printed Short- RD Style ($40 ish)
The last two pieces ended up being my 4th of July BBQ outfit.  It was perfect for the super hot day!  The shorts are shorter than I would typically pick, but they have an elastic waist.  Enough said!

The top is full of details!  I can see it being paired with so many things and even through the fall and winter.

I have scheduled my next fix! It should come at the end of July.  I am asking for a shirt dress with sleeves, open front cardigan, and white cropped pants.  If you are interested in getting your own fix, they are having a great deal right now!  If you sign up and schedule a fix before July 28th, they will give you a $25 credit! Shark Week!

I have to admit that sharks terrify me and might just be the reason I like to look at the ocean from afar!  However, kids LOVE sharks!  They have quite a curious obsession with them!  As you all know, Shark week officially begins Monday!  I made this fact tab flip book and craft that will be perfect for the upcoming week!

The craft couldn't be cuter!!  It really doesn't look too scary!  This would be perfect on a hallway display for this week!

The tabbed flip book is perfect for kids to write down all of these things they learn about sharks.

I could also see this being used to teach the digraph -sh or even during an ocean themed unit!

Make sure you go over and check out the other awesome products over at Mrs. Hankinson's Class bloghop!
Have a great Sunday!

Plan With Me Sundays

Happy New Year!  I always go into the new year wanting to be even more organized than the year before.  I feel like we all do!  I have been using a planner since high school, but I have really gotten into a groove since becoming a busy mom and teacher.  It keeps me from going insane and forgetting everything!

I am currently using The Happy Planner and I am loving it!  I love the simple design of the pages and the cover is gorgeous!

I tend to plan on Saturdays and my desk is my favorite spot.  Everything I need is nearby and it is the quietest place in the house.  I start by writing important dates in pencil and then get everything I will need out.

I keep it simple with washi (to add some fun color), pen and pencil, sharpies, and stickers.

Washi goes along the bottom just to add some fun color and life to the pages.

I love the washi to block off the weekend!

This is how the layout looks on most weeks.  I have found a place for everything that is working really well!

1. Weather- I add the high/low temperature and the forecast.  This helps so much with picking out clothes and remembering to grab a raincoat.
2. Cleaning Schedule-  I follow the Clean Mama cleaning schedule and it works so well.  This is a reminder to get it done!
3. School Reminders- I leave the middle section for all school related tasks/meetings.  I write these in pencil because they are constantly changing.
4.  Exercise- I placed some more washi to highlight my workouts for the day.  I am totally struggling with working out and fitting it into the day!!
5. Blog Post- Dark Blue: Family Blog, Light Blue: Teaching Blog- This totally didn't happen this week, but I will just move it to the next week.  Sometimes you have to let something go!
6. Meal Planning- My tried and true menu planning is still going strong.  This is also in pencil because things get shifted or erased from time to time.

That's it ladies!  My week in my planner!  I hope this gives you some ideas and motivation to get our life more organized.  I hope to see your planner in the link up below!! Make sure to check out Meghan and Elizabeth's blog post. I know that have some awesome ideas!
